Product Description:

Valerian is the dried root and rhizome of Valerian in the genus Valeriaceae. Valerian is currently widely used in Europe, and it is becoming more and more popular in the United States, Canada and other countries, and has been listed in the pharmacopoeia of many countries such as Europe and the United States. Valerian extract has a calming effect on the central system, can relieve anxiety and antidepressant. Valerian extract is a mixture prepared by the water alcohol method from crushed valerian grass. The United States Pharmacopoeia stipulates that valerian extract contains no less than 0.3% of valerene acid, and the total valerenic acid (hydroxyvalerenic acid, ethyl valerenic acid and valerenic acid) is not less than 0.6%, which is calculated as dry products. The ratio from Valerian starting material to extract is 4:1 to 7:1.
