Product Description:

Fisetin, is a natural flavonoid. The extraction source is the sumac plant Rhus succedanea L prepared by a specific extraction process, this product yellow needle-like crystals (dilute ethanol), melting point 330 °C (decomposition). Soluble in ethanol, acetone and acetic acid. Almost insoluble in water, ether, benzene, chloroform and petroleum ether. Melting point 348 °C, bright yellow fine needle crystal, melting point 〉300 °C. In recent years, studies have found that fisetin can exert anti-tumor effects by inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and signal transduction pathways, inducing tumor cell apoptosis, etc., so it has attracted increasing attention. However, the ingredient has disadvantages such as insoluble in water and low bioavailability, which limits its further development and clinical application.
