Product Description:

Arbutin, also known as arbutin, chemical formula C12H16O7, is a component extracted from the leaves of azalea plant arbutin. It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in the body, prevent the production of melanin, thus reducing skin pigmentation, removing stains and freckles, and has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects. It is mainly used in cosmetics. It is found in the whole grass of the tigergrass family, the leaves of the blueberry family, and many other plants. It can also be chemically synthesized. The arbutin leaves were crushed and rinsed, boiled with water, extracted twice, combined with the water extract and concentrated to syrupy shape under pressure, then added methanol to dissolve, filter out the insoluble methanol, and recover the methanol under pressure to produce arbutin. Pure arbutin can be obtained by decolorization, filtration and recrystallization of activated carbon in water.
